The brand new PELVIXTT unit and its catheterization sets have been specially developed for thermo-chemotherapy treatments for bladder cancer (or Bladder Wall Thermo-Chemotherapy - BWT) and this for non-musculo-invasive bladder cancers (Non- Invasive Muscle Bladder Cancer - NMIBC). This new and innovative technology has already proven its effectiveness and safety.
BWT technology combines the instillation of cytotoxic drugs with hyperthermia (44.5 ° C), achieving a more effective treatment than the instillation of chemotherapy or immunotherapy alone. This increased efficiency is due to the synergy between two phenomena:
